Dance Connection, formerly Peggy Leah’s School of Dance, has proudly served Grayslake and the surrounding communities for over 50 years.
For more than 50 years, Dance Connection has been a community-based studio where each dancer is supported in reaching their personal best. We offer structured dance education with a creative approach, helping students ages 2–18 build confidence, develop strong foundational skills, and discover a lifelong love of dance and expression. Our inclusive and supportive environment welcomes dancers of all abilities and aspirations, encouraging growth, individuality, and a positive connection to movement.
At Dance Connection, our team of professional instructors fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment where dancers can explore their unique potential. We challenge our students to reach their personal best by balancing enthusiastic encouragement with structured classes, all while incorporating traditional dance techniques and performance opportunities.
The annual recital, held at The James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts in Grayslake, is the culmination of our Recital Season. Each student can perform in a traditional stage production with professional audio/visual support.
